Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is used to treat a diseased or infected nerve (pulp) of a tooth. Symptoms of diseased nerve may include hot and/or cold sensitivity, pain and swelling, and a bad taste in your mouth. In some cases, there are no symptoms present and a person may not know there is a problem.

Root canal treatment is determined based on x-rays and a clinical examination. In years past, a diseased or infected tooth would have to be removed, but that is no longer the case with the technology today. Our goal is to save teeth rather that remove them!
